    *How did you become part of the Studio Rio family?

    On my radio show, we came across a “Stupid News” story of a woman in the U.K. who was working out at a different kind of POLE gym and she fell off and injured herself.  Niko happened to be listening that morning and she immediately emailed in suggesting that we come and see how safe and fun REAL pole fitness is!  So, Rumble and I came out to give it a try, (the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqiZMmTfeB0) and I was on cloud 9.  Those are the exact words I used to describe my experience.  AMAZING.  FUN.  A GREAT EXPERIENCE.  I laughed the whole time I was working out, and as I got in my car in the parking lot, I was already on the phone with my friends setting up a date for us to go in and work out together!  I’ve been coming back ever since…for the workout, the skills, the friendships I have made, and the self esteem I have gained.

    *One way you have changed since coming on board

    One way?  I went from being a METAL HEAD-T-shirt and baggy jeans wearing-TOM BOY with JET BLACK unbrushed hair and no muscle-all flab, to a blonde chick with some ab muscles that can shake my hips to hip hop or country and flip upside down on a pole.  I still prefer my metal, but occasionally I wear a pink shirt now….and I’m not ashamed!

    But if I had to pick one way, it’d be that I changed my opinion about girls. In the past, I had the idea in my head that women were all catty and to trust no one, but it turns out there are amazing women out there and if we just back each other up, you can make some amazing friendships.

    * Tell us about yourself

    I love dogs, huskies and corgis the most, I am really good at video games like Call of Duty and Gears of War, I actually ride a motorcycle with Gears of War painted on it.  My favorite bands are metally, like Amon Amarth, Cannibal Corpse, and Bloodbath, but I promise I won’t play any of that in class!  I love zombie movies and Beavis and Butthead.  One time I cried when I went to the bear show.  There were these 2 full grown brown bears and they waddled on their hind legs to the trainer who fed them marshmallows and my heart was overcome with the cuteness of it all, and I couldn’t stop crying.  Also, I have a huge collection of fake skulls and swords.  Boots are my addiction…unless someone mentions Nutella.

    *Give one reason someone should take our classes

    Twisted Fitness classes are the most fun way to stay in shape and learn a few skills!
