Studio Rio is the first gym that I have ever joined that I absolutely love to go to. They cover every aspect that a gym should have.
I use and abuse the treadmills and weights at my convenience in a comfortable, nonjudgmental atmosphere. The aerobics and stretching classes never leave me disappointed. I’ve never exercised under black-light and I don’t think I’ll ever go back. The pole classes are liberating. The instructors are more than willing to share their knowledge, especially to interested students.
Most importantly, the women that attend this gym embody the spirit of togetherness The support from the staff and members is overwhelming. This place is part of my life!
You know how much I love this place. It has given me self-confidence that I had no idea I was capable of. My first pole class I could barely do the basic fireman. Now I can climb to the top and go upside down and spin backwards. All of the staff and other patrons make you feel beautiful regardless of the day. Only drawback is the shoe addiction!
I found Studio Rio during a low point in my life, at a time when I figured the least I could do is get in shape to try and lift my spirits. But what I truly found was so much more! Not only was it a place that helped me get physically healthy, but it also made me mentally and emotionally healthier too. The attitudes of the staff and the environment they have created is so encouraging, kind, uplifting, and promotes female solidarity – they call it spreading “girl power,” I call it a much needed light in the darkness. There is so much competition and negativity in the world…Studio Rio is a great place to catch your breath from all that, as well as a place to hone a body that will take someone else’s breath away! (Okay, I know that might sound cheesy, but I’m obviously a huge fan — and it’s totally true!)
